The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is pleased to announce that it has re-designed its logo and that, effective immediately, its official logo is as appears on the above letterhead.

The Commission's new logo incorporates an image that reflects the Mohawk heritage of the community of Kahnawake. Visit Kahnawake.com for more information about Kahnawake, its history, culture and territory.

The new logo is in the process of being distributed to all permit holders and will replace the Commission's old logo on all sites that are licensed and regulated by the Commission.

In addition to a graphic re-design, the Commission's new logo will soon be linked to a Logo Certification Program. The Logo Certification Program will enable players to verify that the site they are visiting and bearing the Commission's logo is actually licensed by the Commission by simply clicking on the logo itself. When a player clicks on the logo a "Certificate of Good Standing" will be generated in a browser window for the user to view. Using the information that exists in the Commission database at the time of request and displayed on the Certificate, the user can easily verify details such as actual licensed website URL and licensee information.

Once the program is fully implemented, which we anticipate will be on or before April 15, 2010, only sites that are properly licensed and regulated by the Commission will generate a Certificate of Good Standing. The Commission will post an announcment on this site once implementation is complete.
